Quod head chef talks about new autumn menu

Head Chef Michael Wright talks about the new autumn menu at Quod.

When a new menu starts at Quod pask me which dishes I would recommend and which dishes are flying out of the kitchen.

Pizza – we are making the most of some fantastic wild mushrooms with ceps on our pizza squash with walnuts & sage – with extra lardo if you desire!

Chanterelles with a poached duck egg & baby spinach, both of these dishes are selling really well.

Try whole roast chicken with chips & garlic mayonnaise, one customer told the restaurant manager it was the “best roast chicken ever”.

Also we’ve had great feedback on a favourite of mine – poached salmon with cockles & clam chowder.
